Playing on the P. Sara Test Match Oval in Colombo the team won their 2nd game in a row.
Batting first the Crusaders scored 9/171 off their 45 overs.Tom Edwards 27, Luke Perry 26 and Connor Rutland 25 getting among the runs in the middle overs. Nathan Kincaid 27 not out a Blake Symons 10 not out at the end got us to a defendable total on the big oval.
The best of the Dharmapala bowlers were Hasarinda 2/38, Weerakoon 2/35, Zoysa 2/30 and Maduranga 2/4. Keeper Dayanaka backed them up with 3 stumpings and a catch.
Good captancy by Sean Phillips-Williams and good fielding restricted the school team to 149 giving us a well deserved 22 run win. Chanuka 28, Dayanaka 26 top scored. The wickets were shared around by Blake Symons 3/41, Jack Le Brun 2/11, Lindsay Edwards 2/31 a Bailen Clarke 1/36.
